The book is pretty thin with a pic of Bruce Wayne, a few of Batman in different action poses and then one for the major villains : Penguin, Freeze, Bane and, of course, Joker.
Each page has steps from the initial outline through to fleshing the sketch out, adding detail, colouring and finishing off. It's well done and I've managed to produce a couple of decent Batman pictures following it although getting Joker right seems beyond my capabilities (at the moment). The only downsides (other than quantity) is quite a jump between fleshing the sketch and adding detail to colouring.
An extra section on getting the cowled eyes right, how to drape cloaks etc would have made it more related to Batman and got an extra star (p.s. I bought this for 1p plus £2.75 shipping which is about right for the content).
