I've had the opportunity to give these tools a decent go, with a bit of car and bike maintenance.
So, what's good?
The box is reasonably compact and would easily fit in the boot of a car or a garage shelf. I thought bits might start falling around when I closed the case, but this didn't happen. The magnetic screwdriver handle, although not a ratchet, is well made and effective enough, with enough attachments to cover the overwhelming majority of DIY tasks and a strong magnet. The ratchet set is decent enough, and reversible. The two larger posidrive/flat head screwdrivers are fine, as are the pliers and spanners.
What's not so good?
For me, just two things make this four, rather than 5 stars. The adjustable wrench is flimsy and small and I doubt I'll use it at all. I already have higher quality and larger wrenches. Worse still, the case itself is rather plasticy and flimsy, and unlikely to stand up to too much knocking about. One of the closing clips already takes a bit of a push to get it to close correctly, although I don't believe it will break entirely.
All in all, for £25 delivered to my door, no complaints whatsoever and I'd recommend as a basic tolkit to anyone. But don't forget that if you need a hammer/saw type tools then this isn't the kit for you. If you have those covered, snap one of these up while they're cheap!

Nicely packaged tool kit with pretty much everything you'd need for home and garden. As you'd expect, some corners have been cut: the ratchet head has a small steel ball to allow attachments to click in and out, which pings out of its housing if you don't remove the attachment carefully. You will still need to buy separately a set of spanners and a shifting spanner that will open wide enough for heavier household chores (like fitting a washing machine).

Bought this a while ago to fix some furnitures in my new place. Offers a range of thoroughly comprehensive options with the exception of providing a hammer. Otherwise, still an excellent buy with good value for money. An added advantage is the reasonably light weight and compact size which makes it easy for storage.
