The Draper 69555 Postrite post level is a practical tool designed for plumbing pipes and posts, and levelling rolled steel joist (RSJ) beams, as well as for other applications where vertical or horizontal positioning is required. Designed to be easy to use, the hinged body opens to any angle and may be used on square, round and hexagonal posts, as well as girders (RSJs). It features dual fixing elastic straps for non-magnetic surfaces as well as magnets for steel fence posts, RSJs and the like. The robust plastic construction of this level and its acrylic vials make this product ideal for outdoor use. The Draper 69555 Postrite post level is a handy size, measuring 188 mm by 133 mm. It also offers good accuracy at 1.75 mm per 1 m = 0.1 degree. This product has been manufactured for Draper Tools by professional level manufacturing company Kapro.

I had 7 slotted concrete posts to put up and bought this for the job. I checked the bubble level for accuracy by using a Stabila General Construction Level and all was well. Although I had no need for the features, the hinged body is a welcome addition for polygonal posts as is the magnetic backing for steel posts or RSJ's.
My only gripe is the elasticated strap used to secure the level to the post snapped after the fourth post went in. Not a big deal but disappointing.

This is a fantastic peice of kit which makes levelling posts vertically and horizontally a quick and simple job in half the time it takes using one spirit level. Wish I had bought one years ago !

Used this to put up 15 fence posts by myself. Once the hole was dug I strapped onto the posts put in the post fix and levelled in two directions using this magic little gauge. Make from plastic but even though I dropped a few posts it survived okay. The only weak point is the elastic strap which is a little flimsy. That said it has lasted okay.
Recommended as a simple way to ensure posts are level in two direction.
