This jack does what it says on the box, only critisim is that when using the bar to release the load it is difficult to locate the pin / key into the slot on the jack, not as easy as my old one.
IMPORTANT Just be aware that when using a trolley jack it should be on a smooth surface this allows the jack to move as it raises and lowers its load, the reason for this is because the Jack uses a lifting arm, the arm moves in as it raises and out as it lowers. if the jack is not allowed to move forward or back these types of jacks can be unstable. to understand this put you elbow on the table with your for arm flat on the table and then raise your forearm up and you will see that your hand moves closer to you, same with the jack.

Always use another tool to keep the vehicle up, such as axle stands, worst case blocks of woods, just make sure the vehicle is lowered on to the wood and keep the Jack in place. This means that you have two safe methods of keeping the car raised when working under it.

Lifts a 1.6 tonne vehicle well - does 'pull' in under the car as it lifts, so 4 stars as this is a bit unnerving. A higher rated jack would prob not do this.
Have used many times now and the release mechanism is useful as it can lower very gradually onto axle stands/supports if you want to keep your sills in good nick.

Jack arrived very quickly, it was well packaged and included some easy to follow instructions on setting it up and on safe usage.
Its been used various times already, mainly helping support horse trailer whilst changing tyres. Far easier to use than my old hand cranked jack also this jack was easier to move on earth surfaces, remembering to put someting solid underneath it.
My only gripe is the fiddley nature of release on the Jack, although once you have made the connection it does seem easy to control when you want to do the final tightening of the wheel nuts.
