The instructions and assembly of bench is clear and straight forward.

As a previous reviewer has said to make the bench more solid, I have fitted extra braces to the legs and top.
Also the wooden pegs supplied are loose fitting so I've made replacements out of hardwood for a better fit.

The bench itself has a usefull working height, is compact so those with limited space should be able to fit
in most places. The vices seem to be solid enough, but I would'nt exert to much pressure on them, so far they
have cope with various tasks with no problems.
It is very usefull and has made a lot of projects easy to cope with, and I'm happy with it

If you do carpentry at home and could use a workbench then I would recommend this as it's compact and reasonable
price. For most light jobs the bench should be fine without modifications, I wanted it for heavier jobs etc.

I write this review with a background of teaching boys craft subjects in schools.
This a well presented product and arrives in flatpack form. If you need such a bench you will have sufficient experience to assemble it without any trouble as instructions are straight forward.
The basic problem with the product is that it is not stable enough for serious work.
Remedies:1. glue all joints as you assemble (Do a trial run first).
2. Make and fit 3 bracing struts to back and side legs.
3. If you don't mind it in a fixed position, use brackets to screw it to a wall permanently.
The two vices 'gape' when holding work at one end of the jaws. Solution: put a similar piece of wood at the other end of the jaws to keep it parallel.
Otherwise it is a good product for the price.

Verified Purchase
Bench is fairly substantial and well made. My version did not have a drawer .I also bought the drawer/cupboard attachment.
Notes for assembly could be improved as , in my case, I had to unscrew bench assembly having got parts back to front.
Whilst a good overall bench price is rather high.Vices could be better made i.e. more accutate fittings.

This is a light, very light, workbench suitable for light, hobby craft activities rather than any proper carpentry or joinery. The legs are too weak, the top is too thin, the vices are weak and wobbly. The finish on mine was poort with untreated parts and blobby parts. The tool well at the back was not treated at all, nor were the wooden bench dogs. Easy to assemble. Good value for what I required it for which was a basic worktable for some light hobby activities with my son.
