I took a chance when I bought these secateurs the quality and finish is far superior to anything else at this price and I would not hesitate recommending this item to any gardener .

The plants, shrubs and trees in our modest garden look forward to being pruned with these good quality and classic looking secateurs. Designed with riveted hardwood handles and polished steel body, the roses lean forward to be trimmed first.
An added bonus is that they cut cleanly with sharp close sliding blades and look as they they can be sharpened if needed. Bought these with a good discount too and while not certain that they are better than the top secateurs, they are the only ones to use on the cat-walk.

I purchased these because I have some bushes in my garden which finally ruined the very old pair of secateurs I was using. So, I took a punt on this product and and very pleased I did. The construction is solid and the wooden handle adds a bit of class to your usual plastic looking tools.
Overall a very good product but some points to note: firstly, this is a not suited to overly delicate tasks. Pruning bushes and twigs are definitely what these secateurs were made for and it does these well. Second, it is a little on the heavy side because of its construction and it has quite a strong spring in it so your hand may ache a little with prolonged use.
In summary . . . my advice, particularly when you consider the cost, would be that you should go ahead and purchase these - I am sure you won't be disappointed.
