Clever design means that this heater can sit flat and direct heat across the room, or stand on its side which directs heat up into the room. A fan heater is a fan heater, but it's quiet and effective compared to others.

Bought for cold nights camping and works well, lower power allows to run without tripping electric hook-up.

I bought this heater for a friend who lives in the UK. I myself live in the US and I definitely know that when it comes to comfort in the cold months: a good heater is a must.
With electricity and gas being so costly, running your furnace all the time is definitely not a good idea if you are trying to cut back on spending.
My friend really really loves this heater. It draws little power and keeps him from freezing in his room, and he puts it on a low heat setting.
The best way to save money during the winter is to heat and only heat the rooms you are currently occupying. If you are living in an older home and cannot control which rooms get heated, you need this heater especially at night.
The best way and most efficient way to save money is to get your windows, door jams, and any other part of your home that has exposure to the outside spray foam insulated.
If you need a little extra warmth during the night or need to run your furnace less, get a heater like this or something similar.
