Everything in this backpack is the simplest possible form. Plastic plates mugs and non-glamorous (but metal!) cutlery. However, it all works exactly as it says on the tin.
I found the backpack itself surprisingly comfortable (on a 10ish mile hike in the lake district)considering its appearance. I hadn't even noticed it came with a waterproofed blanket which made for a really pleasant surprise.
Overall I'd get this again and again. If you want finery, get a proper picnic box, and be prepared to not get far beyond a carpark before you need to rest!

Delighted with this product - although it arrived without the picnic rug and hope this will come soon! Well constructed, a good design and no worries about the excellent beakers - as they are large enough to house
