A great book, I went straight ahead and bought the next and the rest of the series and they are all great, great characters, some good ideas for dragons and plot twists and directions that you don't quite expect and nothing is better than an unexpected twist or plot direction. This is so good I have bought the paperback version for my dad for fathers day

I loved this book and so did my 8 year old grandson! I was staying with him in New Zealand and whenever I put the book down it was disappearing! I have since bought and read the rest of the series [ bought them for him too!]I've also bought several copies to give as gifts. Safe reading for all ages. Highly recommended by an 8 year old and his 54 year old grandma. A gripping read full of parallels. Donita K Pauls books are excellent.

This is the first time i have read any of Donita's books but Dragonspell is absolutely fantastic, i couldn't put it down. I will soon be ordering the next book in the series, if you like fantasy, you will love Donita K. Paul
