I have the whole range of books, and I have to say they are fantastic. Twenty years ago, as a child, I picked up my first polymer clay set, and have been hooked ever since. These books are incredibly inspiring, the photography is great and with a little effort you can make some fantastic projects. This book is my favourite of the series, but the others are all worth getting.
I have surprised myself with what I have created and have learnt so many new tips and tricks from reading these books, so it really is a case of don't judge a book by its cover (or in this case size).
Oh and Christi Friesen is clearly a bit crazy, but in a very good way... can't recommend these books enough!

This author KNOWS what shes talking about.
If you're working with polymer clay, and want a little more inspiration... I recommend this book, and the other books in this range, written by this lady.
So impressed, was I, that not only did I purchase the others... but also I pre-ordered the lastest one, to be delivered all the way from the USA.
Her directions are clear, there are photographs aplenty.. and, through-out the book, she allows herself to introduce a little humour and lots of her personality to you.
An exceptionally talented lady, who 'does it' in such a way, that you just KNOW the minute you've finished reading, you, too, will producing the exact same things she has showed you... or your own versions!
I was, a little surprised when the first book arrived... it was made in a way that I hadn't anticipated... a large sized (not quite A4 size) paper back, and not quite as thick as I expected... so opened it with trepidation - my initial 'fears' that I may have made a mistake in buying, were quickly melted away, and my eyes grew wider and wider as I made my way through the book, ... oooing and ahhhing, and thrilled with what I found in there.
A truly fabulous woman.. and brilliant book(s), all beautifully written. Highly recommended for poly.clay workers/crafters.

A book full of inspiration! Clear instructions as to how to make those cute little dragons. The author also has a great sense of humour, which is dotted all over the book.
She gives plenty of examples for different dragons. I would recommend this book, even if you don't want to make dragons, because it gives you plenty of ideas for embellishments.

Brilliant!
I nearly have all current series from this author and i must say - her projects are fab! I am so so! pleased with my first dragon.
