5.0 out of 5 stars Dragons & Courage 18 Mar 2006

If you like Dungeons & Dragons and like Conan The Barbarian and fantasy sci-fi then you will love this it is animation but it is brillant. Well worth buying, if you like the animation of recent times called Excauilber then you will surely like this, I can't say anything bad about it, the only other thing is at the start you think you know what is going to happen, who the baddies are but you are surprised when you find out that it's not the dragons you should be afraid of...
There is great morals in the story and no blood or killing

4.0 out of 5 stars Great story, not so good presentation 5 May 2008
Format:DVD
I almost gave up on this when I started watching it. The films has been made using computer game style graphics, which is not what I would expect from a film. I'm really glad I kept watching it though as the story is excellent with some nice twists. Very enjoyable, once you get over the presentation.

I've just finished watching this movie and I have to say that for something whose prime directive is to presumably sell MegaBloks dragons, it's pretty good.
The 3D animation isn't as good as can be done these days (think ReBoot in the early early days) but the voice talents are commendable and the story not bad at all.
We have a some villainous thugs, brave and handsome hero&heroine, a good plot twist and ...what is more... DRAGONS! Nothing with dragons in is totally gone for me....
It's a good DVD and the extras are reasonable (there is a game that can be played on your computer, the theatrical trailer, and a chance to get extra descriptions of main (and a few minor) characters while the film is in progress.
Overall, I'd give it two thumbs up...it's a good DVD worth buying.
