Product Description

Product Description

After doing a five-year stretch in the Scrubs on a robbery charge, ex-Royal Marine Billy Robson is determined to go straight. Rejecting dubious offers by friends in the East End underworld, he jumps at the one legitimate job going - unaware that he is being ensnared in a web of corruption, addiction and perversion that may cost him his new-found freedom and his family. From the Middle East, through Britain and America, the twin evils of terrorism and narcotics stalk side by side. And Billy Robson finds himself and those he loves fighting for their very survival as he dares to stand up for what he believes in.

By John Richard VINE™ VOICE
Format:Paperback|Amazon Verified Purchase
A compelling story line woven through the insidious world of illegal narcotics, how innocents become ensnared and how the trade pays for terrorism all over the world. Immaculate research as always, just another first class illustration of how stupid it is to bring the law into this tragic human situation. Great read too.

A GOOD READ 17 April 2012
Format:Paperback|Amazon Verified Purchase
While a bit dated in some of the storyline elements this is an enjoyable read, with twists and turns and enough action to keep you interested. Won't spoil the end but suffice to say it leaves the way open for more novels involving the main character! Overall, 8 out of 10.
