This is without doubt one of THE finest fantasy books I have ever read. The character development is strong and you actually begin to feel for the characters involved. The plot to, is awesome and I found that I could not put it down. I read it in two days and then I had to read it again. If you enjoy fantasy novels then you must buy this book. Also check out the 'meetings sextet' to find out how this motley crew of outlaws got together.

Dragons of Autumn Twilight is the first book I read by Mararet Weis and Tracy Hickman and I must say I really enjoyed it. they are in my opinon the best writers of fantasy books ever. Once I started reading it I couldn't put it down untill I finished the book. The story of the companions and what they went through before,during,& after the war was something I will never forget the book was so good & the details of the world & all the diffent races of krynn were well done that by the end of the Chronicles series I went out and bought every book in the dragonlance series. I have since 1991 bought and read every dragonlance book to date and I look forward to the future books on the 5th age. each and every charactor in Dragons of Autumn Twilight are interesting my favorite is Raistlin. I highly recomened Dragons of Autumn Twilight plus the rest of the Chronlicles series and the other Dragonlance books.

Quite simply the best fantasy book I have ever read. From start to finish, I could not put this book down. It tells the tale of a group of adventurers, or different races, who are thrust into the middle of the biggest adventure they have ever been on. Set in a magical world, they battle with magicians and dragons to prevent the world from being taken over by evil. This book provided me with more than a story. It also made me think about the message that it was trying to get across, and I'm sure it will make you think too. If you like this book, then you will HAVE to read the following two : Dragons of Winter Night, and Dragons of Spring Dawning. These two continue with the story. Plus there are over 70 other books of this series .
