5.0 out of 5 stars Dragoneye rocks!, 14 Jan 2004
This second espansion of D&D miniatures is even better than the first! Whether you are in for Role Playing or the skirmish strategy game, it is definetily worth buying. It adds essential creatures to the game, like Dragons, gargoyles and spiders, so its a must for role players, it also rounds up the different factions in order to play the skirmish game. Also, the sculpts for the miniatures are much better than in the original Harbinger expansion. The D&D miniature game has definetly improved with Dragoneye.

5.0 out of 5 stars Better than Harbinger? Too Right!!!, 23 Feb 2004
By A Customer
Some might have felt a little let down by the sculpts & paint jobs in Harbinger. Well don't despair. Dragoneye is top drawer.

In all areas Dragoneye is 100% improved on Harbinger, in fact its surprising the price didn't go up (although i believe that future expansions are going to be more expensive, oh well!).

Getting down too specifics, the rare minis (there are 20 too collect) are fantastic, the Red Dragon being the real star. However, its the uncommons (24 too collect) that are the real improvement, some look that good you wonder if they shouldn't have been rares, the Harpy being one case in point. Another little touch are references to D&D rulebooks and accessories on the D&D side of the stat cards, nice.

Overall, if you have collected Harbinger, then you must, must have Dragoneye!... then Archfiends,... then Giants of Legend..... I think i'll stop now and have a sit down, i'm getting way too excited for a 30something.

5.0 out of 5 stars Better than the Harbinger set?, 11 Feb 2004
By A Customer
I've only bought a few expansion boxes for the Dragoneye expansion set, but so far I really like what I see. The figures seem more "3-dimensional" and more colourful. One of the best things about the set is that some of the common and uncommon miniatures really come into their own - e.g. I was impressed by the Harpy in my first box. It's going to be tough to collect a whole set of figures, but I'll give it a good go!
