My 5 year old son loves this book. He has just started getting to grips with poetry at school and so loves spotting the rhyming words and finding out the meanings of new words introduced in the poems. Beautifully illustrated, try counting the spiders in *every* picture! Lots of dragons and lots of feelings explored, from sad, happy, lonely, silly as well as the scary. Fully recommended for sharing, reading and discussing. My son liked it so much he took it to school and got his teacher to read out several of the poems to his classmates.

I thought the book was really good because it was three books in one. The poems are about dinosaurs wearing pink slippers, a make your own monster and a dragon crying! Lindsey Aged 8

If you have a child of 5+ who loves dragons and dinosaurs but might be slightly afraid of them too, this is the perfect book. The poems and pictures are hilarious, and if you have a real fanatic you might be interested in the couple's CD-Rom, Dragons! (from OUP) which has kept many small boys happy for hours and also taught them something besides agility with a mouse.
