Dragon Ball Z: The Legacy of Goku takes you on an incredible journey to protect the universe from the evil Frieza once and for all. You'll use combat strategies to help fulfil the legacy of Goku, the greatest warrior the universe has ever known. The kidnapping of Goku's son Gohan threatens the safety of the universe. The future depends on your ability to use your powers to help Goku defeat his enemies.
You play as Goku through the Saiyan, Namek, and Frieza sagas, interact with more than 75 characters while exploring a huge universe and complete quests to build up your level of Ki, your experience and your inventory. You must use Melee and Ki combat to defeat your enemies and you must master different energy attacks: Ki blasts, solar flare and Kamehameha.

DragonballZ Legacy Of Goku takes you back to the beginning of the the DragonballZ saga and runs through The Saiyan, The Namek Saga and The Frezza Saga. You play as Goku the legendary Saiyan warrior who has to battle through numerous levels completing certain tasks along the way. With each confrontation Goku gains experience which helps him to increase his fighting level. He finds out useful information from his friends Yamcha, Tien, Chatzu, Bulma, Krillin, Piccalo, master Rohsi and many more DragonballZ characters in order to complete his tasks to save his son Gohan. The game holds true to the DragonballZ series with the storyline and signature moves such as energy balls, Solar Flame and the ultimate technique the Kamehameha. Goku can also fly around the screen but is limited by the number Ki balls collected. There is also the usual bad guys such as Raditz (Goku's Brother), Nappa, Freeza and the Saiyan warrior Vegetta. The battles take place on the Plant Earth, Sanke Way, Home For Infinate Losers (or HELL if you have the Japanese version of the series) King Kai's planet and Planet Namek. The game is the standard RPG with nice graphics and a good title and cut scenes. The game also contains some elements of puzzle solving which will make you think about which way you want to go and remember which routes you have taken before in order to collect the artifacts and Dragonballs. The game also has an excellent challenge curve which will keep you occupied for hours. Even if you put the game down you will want to return to the game the next possible moment you can as you want to see what happens next. This game is a must for all DragonballZ fans and for those not familiar with the series should check it out you may be pleaseantly suprised.

Good for beginners,

DBZ:LG(shortned title) has you play Goku-the legendary warrior throgh loads of different areas, battling all the scum of the universe-but-it's just too easy for experienced gamers. The challenges are usually not all that hard and baddies all basically need the same tactics to defeat. And if you've seen the episodes on T.V, the game is even easier because you know what to expect. But if of course you are a beginner to the world of Role-Play-Games(RPG)/Gameboy Advance, this is a must buy. A fine game that requires skill, good judgement and a knowlage of Dragonball Z. It is a brill` introduction to RPGs. All in all, DBZ:LG is a bit easy, but a good buy none-the-less.

dragonballz the legacy of goku is a good game but for fans of dbz its a brilliant game.U play as Goku throught out the saiyan, namek and frieza sagas it is a hard game but it is fun. You interact with 75 characters and the game is 3D. The graphis are good.Fighting style is good. You get to go super saiyan only in the Frieza saga though. The only bad thing is though when your stuck its hard to get unstuck. I reccomend this game for dragonball z fans!!
