4.0 out of 5 stars Dragon Ball animation in your hands 31 Dec. 2009
Fun: 5.0 out of 5 stars
Probably one of the best games of Dragon Ball ever done... Maybe it's because of nostalgy or mauybe because the gameis perfectly done and with lots of care when done... The animation is brilliant, and the story mode is funny and very accurate to how it was the tv series with Son Gokuh in his early years. A pitty that they decided to makethe first season videogame only for Nintendo DS.
It's very complete, and it has two basic modes, Adventure Mode and Battle Mode. The first one you can go through the Tv serie, like if you were watching Dragon Ball again, from the end of the Dragon Ball DS game (first season in the tv series) til the Piccolo Saga; really amazing and funny. Also it' very easy to control the character and to maes lots of attacks with the Wii remote control.
Highly recommended to those that love the adventure of the youngest Son Gokuh and wanna live back to their childhood days for few hours.

4.0 out of 5 stars Must have for fans 30 Dec. 2013

Not many Dragon ball games explore the start of the series. They all focus on Dragon ball Z so it good to have a platform game with story from the first series of Dragon ball.

A must have for all Dragon ball fans and a fun game in general.

2.0 out of 5 stars Dragonball or Dragonballs? 20 Jun. 2010
Fun: 4.0 out of 5 stars
This game definately has the child in mind. It is a scrolling beat em up with a limited set of moves, repetative levels and pretty basic controls. Even though the game seems a little broken its still a huge amount of fun and any game that puts a smile on my face gets a thumbs up. Some of the boss fights are actually quite a challenge and are a lot of fun to play, you have a choice of the original Japanese voiceovers or the American dub which is frankly awful and loses any charm that the game has. The graphics are nice and do a good job of the cartoons style and the music is pretty catchy. For any Dragonball fans, if you can find this cheap then it is definately worth getting, and like me you'll probably have a good time while playing it.
