Drag Racing Collectibles-CORY LEE

OUTSTANDING!!!! This book is well illustrated with a wide variety of drag racing memorabilia that is presented by NHRA Funny Car driver, Cory Lee.
There is a story with every piece shown that gives the reader an inside look of drag racing from the perspective of driver's experiences over a lifetime of being
involved in the world of drag racing. It features never before seen pieces from his own private collection as well as the private collections of famous legends Don "The Snake" Prudhomme and
Tom "The Mongoose" McEwen. And, if you cannot travel to see the NHRA Museum in Pomona or the Randy Haapala museum, it is well represented in this book.
The photography is amazing. I read it cover to cover, loved looking at the photos and learned so much trivia that I feel that I had a great history lesson.
A great piece for a novice or advanced collector. Sure hope there is a volume two in the works!

I just recieved this book with a recent order of other merchandise. I had seen a little info about it, but this was a nice surprise once I had the book open.
Many great photos and collections presented in the book. Also many collectibles are shown from the different dragstrips, manufacturers and programs in the past decades. Only disappointment was the lack of info regarding the Popular Hot Rodding Championships held in the 1970's and 80's here in Michigan. I realize it's tough to cover it all in one book.
A great book overall for subject matter rarely covered in the collecting circles.
