Format:Mass Market Paperback
this book continues the story of kang's regiment, following on from "Doom Brigade" and several short stories. This book really brings to life the personalities of the draconians as they struggle to find a little pieace of krynn to call their own, as wells as introducing the new female draconians.you really begin to fell sorry for them as they stumble into more than they can handle. feared by the general population of krynn kang and his men just want to be left alone but soon find themselves caught up in a war they do not want, and that is just the start fo their problems. superbly written and I for one can not wait for the next instalment of Kang and his troop.

Any race from dragons is bound to be tough but these guys are smart and supper tough. Kang is who tanis would be if he were a draco. This book leaves you wanting more please lets hope for another book on these guys they are great. as for not being a weis/hickman I would go so far as to say this is as good if not better than anything they have written which is high praise indeed considering they are legends in dragonlance.

At last, a book that gets to grips with the fearsome draconians. At the end of the book you feel that they are humans with real personalities and feelings. Very enjoyable. I have given it four stars just because it is not quite up to the Weiss Hickman standard for dragonlance, but very close
