These bottles are the best! I tried avent and tommee tippee and none of them relieved my baby like these did! They come with 3 stage 1 teats and another 2 stage 2 and 2 stage 4 teats along with 2 small bottles and one big one and a cleaning brush. They're just great and would reccommend for any mum that has a screaming baby from colic!!

We have an 11 week old baby and we are mixing breast feeding with bottle feeding. I had purchased Tommee Tippee bottles thinking "How much difference can there be?". How wrong i was - the TT bottles led my little girl and I down a 45 minute wind caused screaming path interspersed with choking and an extremely unhappy baby! I was ready to continue with this, as other parents from our NCT group had said they were having similar problems, when a friend of mine recommended the Dr Browns bottles for reducing wind problems. The results are immediate! Now our feeding has changed into a pleasurable experience, there is no crying in fact she is so relaxed she often drops of through the feed :-) My summation, if you are bottle feeding at all and having any wind problems then GET THESE! I also purchased the second and third stage teats for when she gets bigger and needs a better flow of milk.

Pros: milk does not bubble up as in Avent bottles
Cons:
1. fiddly to wash, lots of bits and pieces to wash and sterilise
2. milk tend to leak out when being warmed in hot water
3. bottle cover, when fitted, is extremely hard to pull out - the Avent is much easier to remove for an equally tight cover fit - this is a poor design issue
4. when heating milk in hot water, milk climbs up the inner tube in the bottle, and you must remember to open twist the bottle open for the milk to drain back down again. Otherwise, just when you've thought baby has finished her milk, and you put the bottle down, you find another 10ml of milk flowing back down in the bottle!

No bubbles - just a happy boy
Bought these as our boy was getting cholicy and since we've got these he's been much better. No bubbles, and is much better than Medela and Tommee Tippee bottles, even the TT ones... Read more
