An excellent CD. Purchased on the strength of the review in AOR magazine. Hopefully they will tour soon, and I look forward to seeing them live.

Heard snippets before buying, ultimately it was the calibre of those involved that made me buy in the end. A bit disappointed though, it's really polished and well crafted but somehow it just lacks soul. The musicianship is beyond reproach but at times it's like they are trying to hard, certainly the drummer who uses way to many fills and over does most things, he's a brilliant drummer with pedigree and shouldn't be trying to impress throughout an album, the result is that the drums sometimes seem overblown. The guitars are typical impressive Ramos but again just to much shredding and impressing rather than finding that magical 'soulful' feeling that the likes of Schon, Lukather etc can bring

The songs are very AOR/ melodic rock in the same vein as The Storm, Journey and Survivor etc but just seem to be missing 'something' to make them have depth.

I'm afraid this one for me will soon sit on the CDs shelf and become forgotten.
