I'll be honest, when I first saw 'Down Boy's' video on the box I was slightly dissapointed. I was expecting a much more upbeat song, and I did not think 'Down Boy' would be quite fast enough for the general public. I have listened to the song twice since then and I have realized how much better it is than 'Kiss Kiss'. It is very sultry and amazingly catchy and with enough radio airplay this will surely earn Holly her second and well deserved number one.

2.0 out of 5 stars Same Ol', Same Ol' 5 Oct 2002
By A Customer
Format:Audio CD
Oh dear... Aside from sounding like a washed out karaoke version of "Kiss Kiss", Holly's latest effort comes across as a massive disappointment. Holly's badly underdeveloped voice lacks the power, clarity and modulation to make this forgettable effort anything more than passable, and the sound mix does her more favours. Stick with "Kiss Kiss" -- same diffident vocals, but at least with a better tune.

3.0 out of 5 stars Better than Kiss Kiss 19 Oct 2002
By Lenka - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Audio CD
... It is still Holly Valance, so it still sounds a little computerized. She still doesnt show her talents ... BUT... it caught my attention, because at least this song is not a remake like Kiss Kiss.- It actually has an original and catchy beat in it. It gets three stars for: originality, catchy beat and sex-appeal. It however loses two stars for: computerization ... And her clothes... not really clothes, just a short shorts and wild hair....
