I have always loved music from plucked string instruments and the music of Dowland probably introduced the plucked style to me when I first heard it many years ago in a radio broadcast. This disc in no way disappointed me. The music is sublime and it is played with great sympathy. I have no hesitation in recommending this product to anyone who may be interested in the music of the 16th and 17th centuries.
