This is a fabulous book. My family love the little red engine books and this book is another winner.
Wonderful illustrations. You see something else every time you look at the page. The child can get really involved with the book.
Only draw back is - you may have to read it again and again and again - and that's no drawback at all.

My grandson is fascinated by large vehicles e.g. tractors, diggers, buses, trucks etc.
Dougal the Digger is informative (to young children) and seems very interesting to him.

Only one thing better than tractors: trains! Only one thing better than trains: diggers!
Lots going on in the pictures but not as detailed as LRT and only one set of pages with 'lift the flaps'.
However, it should keep your liitle dears happy until the next Little Red Train is published.
