Weird, way out, whacky, disturbing.... all these have been used to describe the film 'Dougal and the Blue Cat'. It was always a favourite of mine as a child - having only seen it once and then playing the LP of the story to death. What with the video of the film being in short supply - I found the script to the film. A nostalgic and well set out read it is - with the added bonus of plenty of stills from the film puntuating the screenplay. Now... where was I..? "Blue is beautiful...Blue is BEST...."

Script doesn't look so good, which just goes to show what magic the animators and actors such as Fenella Fielding cast in the strangely quirky & original film.
