Double Horse have brought out this model as a successor to the 9053 Volitation, with which it shares almost all parts, save a longer tail boom & bigger rear rotor, ostensibly to give the model more drive when flying outdoors. In this aspect, it fails totally, as the rotor has a reversed design with the trailing edge trying to act as a leading edge when flying forwards.
So, as standard, it will not fly in any breeze whatsoever, & I would suggest the simple modificationsas per the 9053 Volitation, on You Tube. I have done the tail rotor mod. to mine & it's fine, but no 3 channel co axial will fly well in any sort of breeze.
If this is your first foray into rc helicopters, it is a good choice & you'll find it very easy to fly (NO wind!) Its restrictions would apply to all 3 channel co axial helicopters. I feel it is slightly more robust than the 9053 and as such may be a better choice, but it is a bit more expensive.
