Bought this as it is the one that fits the space we have available at about the right price.
Assembly was fairly straight forward with a few slightly mis-aligned holes- able to sort with some common sense. Structure appears strong with robust fixings holding it together. As we were going to put young guniea pigs in the hutch, I added some extra rungs to the ramp as they are gapped for a rabbit.

We have looked around a lot for a hutch that suited our needs and the kids new guinea pigs. We are very pleased with this, especially when we compare it to the other hutches we have seen out there. The build quality of this is equaly to that which you will find in £100+ hutches.
I have to take issue with Greg and his comments on the rabbit eating the wood which seem a little harsh. I'm not sure there is a wood out there that would resist the nibbles of a rabbit; however, this is certainly not a flimsy and thin design.
Would like to have seen an insulated cover for the winter nights which would have complemented the hutch superbly.

Positives:
- Good size.
- Sturdy construction.
- Hinged roof with bars to hold it in place.
- Plastic trays (entire floors) make it easy to clean.
- Individually bolted doors (at bottom of doors, not as pictured).
- Easy to assemble.
- Feet are individually adjustable (hutch can be kept level if floor is uneven).
Negatives:
- There are no side panels on the bottom half so bedding falls/blows out (we've simply added a small piece of wood to block this).
- The wood split when screwing in the ramp (would advise making a pilot hole - pre-drilled everywhere else).

bunny hutch

Too small for a rabbit
The minimum recommended size for a hutch/cage is 6' (180cm). In addition, a larger area is needed for daily execise. Read more
