Product Description

Review

"'The narrative benefits from the first-hand, insider accounts given by the authors, in a manner not available to every biographer, and this allows for an informed analysis of the great Manager. It is also a light, entertaining read, and a refreshingly different approach to football biography'." (Programme Monthly)

From the Publisher

Only a handful of football managers will be remembered forever - Chapman, Busby, Ramsey, Stein, Shankly, Revie, Clough and Ferguson. Tottenham's Bill Nicholson can be added to that list of legends and justifiably become part of the history of the game.
