5.0 out of 5 stars Cracking stuff 13 Feb 2009
Format:Paperback
This is a cracking first book from super-geek Jason Bradbury. It was so gripping that I had to finish it all in one go and stayed up til 4am (on a school night too, tsk).

Genius Jackson and his fellow tech heads, including my personal fave, the feisty spanner-wielding Brooke, are great characters that really have you rooting for them as the adventure rattles along with many twists and turns. And the robots, the robots...but no spoilers! The really fab thing about this book though is that all the high tech wizardry is based on tech that exists- that's flippin' cool, that is.

A great story- can't wait to read the next one!

5.0 out of 5 stars Fantastic read! 23 Mar 2010
By RacerX
Format:Paperback
I don't often get a lot of time to read and when I do it has to be good.

I'm so glad I got to check out this book (I was lucky enough to get a signed copy from the author). Although I'd say it's primarily aimed at children there's more than enough of a hook and great content to interest any adult too.

Gadgets, action, science, intrigue - it's all in there and once I'd started to read I just couldn't put it down. This could easily be turned into a movie

Hopefully Atomic Swarm will had be at least as good, if not better... only one way to find out :)

Highly recommend, get this book

5.0 out of 5 stars Go go gadget 11 Feb 2010
Format:Paperback
This is a fantastic book. I love gadgets and the Gadget Show so when I heard Jason had written a book I bought it, both for myself and my class of 9/10 year olds at school to read to them. We all loved it and couldn't wait to find out what happened in each chapter. It is a real page turner and I feel a must for gadget lovers of all ages. Can't wait to read Atomic Swarm now!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Bring on 2010 22 Feb 2009
Format:Paperback
This book may be aimed at children but don't let that deter you if you are into gadgets! I constantly found myself searching google for all the snazzy stuff mentioned in Dot Robot and the great thing is, it's all intertwined with a brilliant story! I can't wait for next February when the next instalment is released and will definitely be passing this on to friends.

5.0 out of 5 stars masterpiece 29 May 2009
A Kid's Review
Format:Paperback
Dot Robot is one of the best books I have ever read. It only took me one day to read as I had never put it down! It is a complex story filled with real inventions and it ends with a twist. It is such a good book even though it is written by a brilliant T.V presenter. I just can not wait for the new installment!

5.0 out of 5 stars Couldn't put it down! 26 Feb 2009
Format:Paperback
Dot.Robot is a cracking read - gadgets, computers, internet, conspiracy, and a great bad guy - it's like the Famous Five meets Tom Clancy's Op-centre. Not just for kids, either. A fantastic read, and I can't wait for the next instalment.

5.0 out of 5 stars Dot Robot by Jason Bradbury 2 Sep 2009
Format:Paperback
Item arrived v. quickly and packed v. well. Ordered for my 13 yr old son and he loves it ! He'd seen it advertised and - as a big Gadget Show & J. Bradbury fan - was keen to read it. He is enjoying it and it is written in a style that is great for teens or adults to enjoy. Now looking to get other books by Mr Bradbury to add to the collection!
