This phone may be of some use to people with poor sight but is of little help to those whose dexterity is affected by age or disability. In particular, the memories numbered from 10 upward are almost impossible to use, even for a reasonably dexterous individual, as the two digits have to be input within less than approximately 5-600ms. E.g: trying to input '27' will almost always result in first memory '2' and then memory '7' being accessed as keying the second digit within 500ms of the first is almost impossible. Most similar systems have a timeout of 1 sec (1000ms), surely a phone intended for people whose sight and dexterity are reduced should extend this time rather than reduce it. Also the fact that the text in which the numbers held in the memory are displayed is half the size of the usual display text means that it is impossible for anyone with limited vision to read them.
Furthermore the positioning of some buttons on the side of the case makes it too easy to press these accidentally when holding the phone ordinarily to use the keypad or to speak into. Also, as mentioned in another review, the charger plug is less than straightforward to insert. A suitable depression in the case around the socket would greatly ease insertion.
Finally, the lack of text message reception capability is a disadvantage on most networks which rely on sending service messages by text such as notice of credit expiry or conditions of use.
