What a fantastic read this was. I knew a little about Doris Day before reading it but never knew what a hard life she'd had. All credit to A.E Hotchner for this book but most of the credit must go to the lady herself for being so candid about her personal and professional life...it couldnt have been easy. I can't wait to get my hands on another.

what a book what a life I didnt want to put the book down. it told the doris story warts and all bad marriages poor management and hard work to reach the top.Above all Doris came across as a woman with simple tastes and very humble after reading this book I am a bigger fan than ever great read well done
