This 12-month wall calendar features many rare photographs of Doris Day at various stages in her career, each picture portrays a different side of the American movie actress, singer and animal welfare campaigner. Take a "Sentimental Journey" into a golden era with one of the world's most beloved entertainers of all-time. This calendar is limited to a small print run and produced as a way to raise money for the DORIS DAY ANIMAL FOUNDATION. It has a full-length front picture cover and contained within are a total of 12 enchanting photographs of Doris Day sourced from photo archives around the world. This is my first Doris Day Calander and I'm very pleased with it :-) I think the cover Photograph captures her 'sunny' personality, perfectly! Includes the famous 'Calamity Jane' pose, and a really lovely Doris and Rock Hudson pic.
Contains 7 colour and 5 black and white photographs.There are a couple of great fashion pics and lovely close-ups. All in all, any Doris Day fan will love it.
Buy it, you wont be disappointed ;-)

Ordered the Doris Day 2012 calendar when it first came out for pre-order months ago! And its just wonderful! Lovely big photos, but medium sized so doesn't take up too much wall space (bigger than one of those 'slimline' ones though!)
The pictures are great and the paper of reasonable quality (certainly good enough!)... Was a little disappointed that my favourite pic, the one on the front cover, wasn't on any of the months... but never mind!
Love this calendar and am really looking forward to putting it up :D ALSO great that a good percentage of proceeds go to the Doris Day Foundation for animals in trouble :D xxx

Can't go wrong with Doris Day!

Purchased this for myself and am looking forward to new year to enjoy all the lovely photos of Miss Doris Day. The calendar is high quality and printed on glossy paper. That might make it hard to see what you've written if you use a pencil but I don't mind since I got it for the photos. Would buy again.

...ordered several copies of this calender for myself and as gifts directly from Stephen at DorisDayTribute.com so the review is for the calender not the amazon service. I have done the same with all past issues, it benefits the four leggers after all!... so treat your family and friends. This, as has all previous years calenders come printed on excellent quality, A4 top ring bound, glossy paper with beautiful pictures of the one and only Doris Day. They are of great quality and there are rare and even some unseen ones which have been sourced at great lengths by Stephen Munns and even specially selected by Doris herself. I of course wouldn't dream of writing on the calender or dare to make it messy ...so if your the same I would suggest buying two ;) ....the only critism from a recipient who likes to write names/birthdays etc. next to dates would prefer the days to be in box sections with a small area to write in. Other than that, a great purchase, a great gift and a great cause...Buy at least two today!

This calendar is beautiful, and I agree, I would not write on this. It is a real treasure for any Doris Day fan. Lovely photo's of Doris, some I have not seen before, and I have been a fan for 50 years !
