4.0 out of 5 stars Exploring the Dordoigne and Lot, 5 May 2009

Being in need of an up-to-date giude of the region I chose this from Amazon who offered a good choice. The Guide proved very useful and was well laid out and easy to use. There were a few discrepancies in opening times and prices but this could be accounted for since the book was published over a year ago.

3.0 out of 5 stars Good for first time, 5 Jul 2009

As we have never visited the area before, I thought it would be good to have a guide. This is a very nice, visual guide, which does not miss out the main attractions, however it is not detailed enough, if you are looking for a restaurants or crossing smaller villages which might also be interesting.

I think it covers what it promisse and it is attractive to look at, and we had a lovely time but next time around I might go for little more detailed one.

My wife thought this was brilliant, previously bought the lonely planet guide
but it didn't compete.
