This single was probably my favourite song released in 2000. It makes you think I've never heard anything quite like this before and it is a stunningly original piece of music. Strange loungey guitars appear out of nowhere and on the best track -charlotte the finger-picking is lovely. I thought my parents would like the single, but they hate her voice, don't believe them Hope Sandoval is my favourite singer, her voice can touch places Britney or Kylie, even Madonna could only dream of. Buy this an prepare to be changed forever.

This isn't a Hope Sandoval track. It's "Doorway" by a group called io echo. Unless you like the preview, don't buy it.

How could Amazon make this mistake?

This is a wonderful first album from Mazzy Star's Hope Sandoval and My Bloody Valentine's Colm O'Cloisig. The album is gentle, soothing, and glazed with innocence. Hope's trance-like voice and the band's (almost) shoe-gazed sound creates a unique and fresh organic melody. I can't wait for more to come!!!!!!!!!!!
