There is quite a lot of space between my carpet and the bottom of the door, so the door sometimes goes right over them. However, for most of the doors they work very well

What can I say? It's a wooden doorstop, it does exactly what it should and looks quite nice and neat too. I replaced a rubber doorstop with it as the rubber one had fallen to pieces and was not up to the job. I'm very pleased.
