This review is from: Doom 3 keyset for Zboard (Video Game)
Forget memorizing the manual. Pop in the keyset and start fraggin'!
Rapidly change weapons, reload, crouch and jump with dome shaped buttons Spend more time annihilating evil demons and less time getting fragged Bring demon imps to their knees with ease With vivid colour graphics on the keyset, the ungodly Hellknight never looked so deadly Several years ago Ideazon set out to reinvent the keyboard when it comes to gaming. Why not dispense with the imperfect WASD interface, and while at it, why not improve the keyboard for other genres as well? The end result was the interchangeable Ideazon ZBoard and its add-ons like the Crossfire and other game specific keyboard sets. Taking yet another step forward, Ideazon has joined forces with id Software to develop the Limited Edition Doom 3 keyset for their Zboard system. Unlike previous offerings in which game specific keysets came out weeks or even months after their release, the Doom 3 keyset has been released at the same time the game is hitting the shelves. In this exclusive first look and review, let's find out if the highly stylized and unique Doom 3 keyset is up to the task of clearing the UAC Mars base from hordes of demonic creatures. The Zboard Doom 3 keyset also marks the first release of Ideazon's new packaging designs. Compared to the old design, I consider it to be a welcome change, and it is definitely very nice looking. As with the previous keyset releases, the back of the case shows an overview of the product as well as a three step installation walkthrough. This is the folded-up Zboard Doom 3 keyset and Quickstart Guide outside of the plastic shell. On every Zboard keyset, there are three panels. The left side contains almost everything pertinent to the game including the butterfly movement keys, weapon hotkeys, jump/crouch, and more. All of which are strategically placed for the easiest access
