As a teacher I have used this book with my class of 5-7 year olds during the World Cup. Not only did they thoroughly enjoy it (both boys and girls) the activities are great for fine motor control and creative thinking.
For football mad children there are pages for drawing their own favourite footballer and designing their own World Cup Final programme. There are also plenty of opportunities for the artistic designing of badges, flags, trophies, medals, footballs and football kits. A couple of the pages require some sort of writing from practicing their autograph to party invitations and half time scoreboard messages.
Each page (or double page spread features some sort of outline/ beginning of a picture to finish and a short open ended explanation what the child should do. I think it would be suitable for children from around age 5-10 and would definitely recommend this to any children who love football.

Don't get me wrong, this is a nice little activity book for football mad toddlers/kids, but as with activity books once they're done, they're done. So, although it's an attractive little thing, it's really not worth buying just to be used once. Get cheapo ones from The Works is my advice.

This book is a break away from colouring books in that it attempts to bring more imagination into things by encouraging kids to draw their own doodles alongside those included. This also means it gives them a head start over a standard plain drawing pad. So it's something of a hybrid. It works pretty well, and the direction given makes it easier to get the creative juices flowing.
My kids aren't always the most naturally imaginative and this book did a good job in getting them to draw and colour around one of their favourite subjects.
I think it's decent value considering that there is a good few hours activity to be had from it. The book is also well illustrated and written. Worth a go to keep the children amused.

drawing brilliance from the young
Kids will love this, there isnt alot more to say. I gave this book to a 7 year old and she went crazy drawing day and night, with that being said this was an awesome success.
