excellent length, just the right amount of writing and story and beautiful illustrations, Im reading this at least twice very night at the moment - my 2 year old loves it and calls it bitey bitey!! All the books in this series are excellent - very highly recommended.

My daughter discovered the Tilly and Friends books in the library and after borrowing the ones they had again and again I ordered all six for her birthday. From first read, when she was 2, we have both loved these books which are funny, well written, often with a good "lesson" for toddlers. We hadn't read Doodle Bites before but its now a firm favourite. I would recommend this, or any of the Tilly books, to any 2-6 year old.

The illustrations in these book are just lovely.
My children find the stories hilarious, some of the visual puns are laugh out loud funny. The stories of how the little friends interact are really well observed, too.
My eldest has just started reading on his own and loves these books. They have just the right amount of text for him to tackle confidently.

A book for picturebook lovers
Simple story for all who sometimes feel 'bitey' and don't know how to cope with this state of mind. ;-) Great story for children as well as all picture book lovers. Read more

Doodle Bites
Absolutely charming, beautifully written and illustrated. I bought the "Tilly and friends," set as a special keepsake for my baby girl who is named Tilly and I am very glad I did.
