I have waited so long,

Back in the 1960's I discovered Chuck Jackson's amazingly soulful voice. "Any Day Now" was one of his biggest hits but he did not seem to get the chart success nor the recognition he deserved as we were overwhelmed by the influx of Motown groups. He kept on making music but the albums rarely surfaced in the UK. I was a stalwart fan and I searched out rare singles and the occasional comilation with a track or two featuring Chuck. So to now find these rare (and in some cases unreleased albums) on CD is too wonderful for words. I could wax lyrical myself for pages on the two albums on offer here but I fear my space is limited. Discover Chuck Jackson ans play this CD late and with somebody for whom you have a great fondness!!

Forgotten Gems Soon To Be Extinct Gems.,

This is some of the most sublime r&b music of the twentieth century. This twofer package of music by Chuck Jackson is of his very finest work and nobody even cared to critique it here on Amazon. With the manufacture of the compact disc coming to an end, it might be a good idea to store away as much 60's music as you can, people have forgotten that it took twenty, thirty, forty years for that music to re appear on phongraph records or cd's. Some of this music is currently available as mp3 files but what about the next format? Due to little interest in the music and the absence of record shops and record companies, much of music such as this will be experienced for the last time in this lifetime. Old baby boomers like me will not have another thirty or forty years to re-claim this music. Once extinct again, God only knows if or when it will come again.

Had this album as a teenager in the 60's and nearly wore it out. Thrilled to find it on CD. Oh, the memories!
