About the Author

Tony Ross was born in London in 1938. His dream was to work with horses but instead he went to art college in Liverpool. Since then, Tony has worked as an art director at an advertising agency, a graphic designer, a cartoonist, a teacher and a film maker – as well as illustrating over 250 books!

i bought this book on impulse, and it has quickly proved a real favourite with my 14 month old. 3 or 4 times a day he loves this simple story with great pictures, we put on silly voices and shout out the little princess's lines and he loves it every time. thoroughly recommended and i'm going to buy others in the series from santa!
