Book Description

Mar 2001 Dark Secrets (Book 2)
Secrets taken to the grave don't always stay buried.

In No Time to Die, Jenny is devastated by the recent death of her sister, Liza. Looking for a sense of closure, she secretly signs up for the drama camp where Liza died. Jenny knows that someone here holds the key to what really happened to Liza that night, but if she doesn't find out the truth soon, she may become the next victim.

In The Deep End of Fear, Kate has tried to bury the horrible memories associated with the Westbrook estate. After her best friend Ashley drowned on the estate, Kate vowed never to return. But now, twelve years later, she is drawn back towards the house and that fatal icy pond. There, Kate still feels Ashley's presence and the past seems to be pulling her back towards Ashley's life-threatening dares.

5.0 out of 5 stars Gripping 1 Oct 2011
By Sophie
Format:Paperback
When I found out that there was another Dark Secrets book coming out, I wondered whether it could be any better than the first. It was. Chandler managed to create even better ghost stories than the first- with shocking twists and romance, -which made the book hard to put down.

The first book, No Time To Die, features Jenny Montgomery, whose sister died at a drama camp in Wisteria, Maryland. Jenny decides to go to that exact same drama camp a year after her sisters death, and whilst there, she discovers many secrets that could just endanger her own.

In The Deep End Of Fear, Kate Venerelli returns to the place she once lived to return a ring her father once stole, however, this short trip that she planned soon becomes a lengthy visit, as Kate tries to understand why her parents left Wisteria all those years ago, just after her best friend died...

I recommend this book to all who enjoy mystery/romance books.

4.0 out of 5 stars Value for Money 4 Aug 2010

If you want strong characters who are prepared to stand up on their own and be counted, then you can guarantee that you'll get that from Elizabeth Chandlers writing. They're independent, they're sassy and damn stubborn. Add to the mix a beautifully constructed set of stories and essentially a two for one title in one volume and its going to be something special that the readers will love. Great stuff.
