Superb relaxing Jazz 17 Nov 2001

A fine effort from an underrated Canadian singer.
Her "Que Sera Sera" has made me feel that a very great injustice to the song was done by Doris Day!
The swinging backing musicians make this a real jazz group which I feel now cannot be applied to Holly's compatriot, Diana Krall.

I love this album. The songs may not be new and original but they sound beautiful. The album is great to relax by and good to calm down by. I especially enjoy listening to 'Cry if want' after having a crappy day..

Superb interpretations 16 April 2009

If you like Patricia Barber, Diana Krall and Cassandra Wilson then you'll like the Holly Cole Trio. The whole album is very enjoyable and contains quite intimate music. My favourite track is "I can see clearly now" - a unique and inspired interpretation IMHO.
