On his 17th Birthday Michael is given a present of a Ouija board by Tony his best friend. At a session Tony using a medium known to him as 'Virgil' unwittingly unlocks the evil forces of the board. Soon there is a wave of violent killings and the cheif suspect appears to be Michael who has been a witness to all the killings via premonitions and out of body experiences. Is Michael the killer and can he prove his innocence or is someone else being possessed by the evil spirit?
Seventeen year old Michael(Jon Michael Bischof ) is persuaded by his friends to partake in a Ouija board session. Nothing happens at the time, but when they leave the room the planchette flies off the board and hits the wall. Soon Michael is experiencing horrifying visions and premonitions of his friends impending deaths, as an evil spirit has possessed one of their bodies. This is a low budget Mexican horror, with an American dubbed soundtrack. Its enjoyable enough if you require an undemanding hour and a half of cheesy horror, puncutated by some pretty gory slayings. It does have its moments, but the tension is ruined by having padded out scenes in between. The ending is quite nice, not what I expected at all. Leading actor Bischof also sings the terrible synth title track, as well as delivering a pretty good performance. Undemanding fun. 3 out of 5
