An amusing enough little book.

Based on his column in the New York Times the author provides the "scientific" answer to received wisdom on questions like
"Does the weather affect arthritis?"

The writing could have been improved with a bit more humour. Also the book betrays its origins, in that whilst each individual article is interesting enough, reading too much in one go becomes a bit "samey".

For this reason I'd recommend it as a book to dip into from time to time (Emergency car fodder once again!)
