Incomplete audio 6 Mar 2011
Format:DVD
Sorry, I know that the subject of horror films is often heaving with pickiness about complete versions / quality of prints and I avoid this like the plague. Can't help but mention, that while this is indeed uncut and the best you're ever likley to see the film look, the dvd totally omits the film's musical score and presents the film with only the spoken audio track. No music, no sound effects - renders it like watching a silent movie 80% of the time. AVOID!

Watchable!! 8 Oct 2010

Hi!

There will be people wanting to check this out on account of it being put onto the video nasty list ...
as indeed I did.

I rather enjoyed it for what it was ...
having now watched it - it is surprising to me that it ever made the list even if putting it in it's own time frame, it could be argued that going on the list was the best thing that ever happend to this film - it would likely be buried and pretty much forgotten by all but the hardcore by now.

Somehow t's all quite scooby doo!!!

Would I reccomend it?
Well that would rather depend on the price being paid for it !!
For £5 or less it's worth a look ...
anything more is rather too much, I think.

It's a worthy detour - but certainly no landmark - that I certainly found watchable and sorta enjoyed on account that it does not take itself too seriously.

If you expect anything more - i can only see disapointment for the viewer.

Alone in the Woods 7 Mar 2010
Format:DVD
Anothe terrific special edition that makes one wonder why a bad movie like this should deserve such a regal treatment, but the film is not without merits, it has it's moments and it also has magnificent scenaries to look at ;) The special effects are crude but efficient
The image (full frame) is crisp and clear, the sound is ok
Region 0 NTSC
Extras: two audio commentaries, a stills gallery, tv appearences and a featurette with interviews (cast & crew)
