More About the Author

Karen Campbell has spent many of her adult years employed in the financial sector, both in the UK and overseas. Her first book, 'Don't Forget the Kettle' was inspired by a desire to capture the past while enjoying good food, good wine and good company whilst on holiday in the South of France. She is always in the middle of some project or other, loves to cook and to eat and now lives in St Neots, Cambridgeshire. The Campbell family saga continues in her second book,'The Kettle in Transit' and a third book in this series is planned. Karen also writes womens fiction and for children under the name Karen Elaine Campbell.

Format: Paperback
If you or anyone you know has moved often especially in the military you will find this book a lovely read.
Karen describes the fun, frustration, challenges and delights of being an army wife over about 20 years and all it entails.
The people she has met and the friends made, highlighted with her observation of life around the world brings to the reader smiles and tears.
Her recipes (all colour) give you a taste of her travels, and lovely recipes to try yourself.

Format: Paperback
As an ex-serviceman I was unsure if this would be my cup of tea as I assumed (you know what they say about people who assume...) it was a book more suited to women, I couldn't have been more wrong. I found it frequently funny, occasionally sad, and often moving and the recipes don't look too shabby either.

And there are others in the series! You really want to live with this family! If only to be able to return to your own form of insanity when it's over.
