Format:Audio CD
One of the best emo/core bands ive heard. If you like thrice, taking backsunday, you WILL love this. Extremely talented musicians - powerful riffs,melodic solos, grrr screaming/voice of an angel (not charlotte church -bail), very creative drummer, all brought together perfectly. Beautifulalbum especially for a debut - should go a long way. In my top five bandsfor the last few months - it just doesnt get boring.

A Static Lullaby are not the usual post-hardcore/emocore band that you might of expected on first listening to them. ASL melodys and lyrics are amzingly good. Silly people might type cast them as a band to listen to if you've just broken up with your girlfriend or are a wimpy emo kid. Infact ASL ARE not infact trying to be either of those, the way the band mixes slow melody parts with heart throbbing screams is fantstic they really clasp the genre by the wrist and show it at it's best. The singer is amazingly talented (as are all the band) and is infact both the screamer and the melody singer. Great lyrics,catchy lyrics this band does it's genre proud.Buy this NOW!

A static lullaby really are on to something special with their debut album..."And dont forget to breathe". Definately influenced by early glassjaw,hopesfall,from autumn to ashes and other similar acts. The album is full of emotional singing and screaming, and heavy catchy guitars. A few of the other reviews have compared a static lullaby to the used and finch. I am a huge fan of those two bands,bbut i would have to say a static lullaby definately have more screaming. A good description i have read is a poppy thursday taking a bite out of hopesfall. They hve just shot a video for "lipgloss and letdown",this is a great song combining all elements of a static lullaby. My favourite track is probably "the shooting star that destroyed us all",it has been re-done for the album,and shows a static lullaby at their most exciting,a great intro will dull vocals and great screaming parts,with some singing. A great debut album,and a taster for what will hopefully come in the future.
