A static lullaby really are on to something special with their debut album..."And dont forget to breathe". Definately influenced by early glassjaw, hopesfall, from autumn to ashes and other similar acts. The album is full of emotional singing and screaming, and heavy catchy guitars. A few of the other reviews have compared a static lullaby to the used and finch. I am a huge fan of those two bands, bbut i would have to say a static lullaby definately have more screaming. A good description i have read is a poppy thursday taking a bite out of hopesfall. They hve just shot a video for "lipgloss and letdown",this is a great song combining all elements of a static lullaby. My favourite track is probably "the shooting star that destroyed us all",it has been re-done for the album, and shows a static lullaby at their most exciting,a great intro will dull vocals and great screaming parts, with some singing. A great debut album, and a taster for what will hopefully come in the future.
