5.0 out of 5 stars I give it 5 stars! 18 July 2005
By A Customer
Format:Audio CD
Buy this album its really good except the last track which is a bit poor... but the other tracks are so good that it still deserves 5 stars. Great rootsy guitar meets hip hop...equally good for the beach and the car... more angry boy music than nice lady music but there's something on it for everyone!

5.0 out of 5 stars Rediscovered classic 11 July 2012
Format:Audio CD
I bought this when it came out after a chance radio encounter. Being a die-hard metal fan it was a bit of a departure, but those guitars - pure rock. And those vocals - pure attitude.

I have just found my CD after about 5 years and have been relistening to this absolute classic non-stop for the last few days.

Do your ears a favour and buy it.

This band came before their time like few others, with a sound that, somehow sounds as fresh today as it did 13 years ago. Excellent guitar licks that would put a smile on most Clapton fans faces, a drummer that has elements of scar and reggae roots with the timing of a metronome, scratching by a talented DJ and a vocalist with a great rough sound and lyrics that say it as is like Jerry Springer on a comedown. Class A all the way....

A real gritty album. These guys have lived on the edge and it shows in their music.

5.0 out of 5 stars A Classic that doesn't age 6 May 2014
By flannel
Format:Audio CD|Verified Purchase
Outstanding fusion of Mancunian blues and rap delivered with aplomb by Nicky Lockett aka MC Tunes.allied with searing guitar licks from Sam Brox, hugely talented son of Manchester blues legend Victor
Its only a pity that the band never stayed together long enough to record a follow up
