Format: Paperback
This 32-page book is an entertaining, informative and colourful introduction for younger readers to the world of dolphins. Each chapter/section is colourfully illustrated, with informative text in a large, clear font. There are little boxes of “Word Bites” giving definitions of words and concepts where necessary, and even joke questions for the parent to ask their children, to liven up the reading session. This is a superb basic introduction and would be an excellent and entertaining book for the youngest readers.

The Contents are –
P04: It’s a Dolphin!

P14: Under the Sea
P18: Where Dolphins Live

We are glad we bought this book. It talks about fresh water dolphins, baby dolphins, killer whales... Again, colorful pictures and good font size.

After receiving the dolphin magazine, I brought more. Great pictures, good quality and just enough info for a 3 and 5 year old

I'm Olivia and I'm 6, I like the national geographic books for kids. This book was a little easier to read than Sharks. The print in Sharks was really small this book was better but it could be bigger can you fix that? I love reading books on my kindle.

Could be better 19 Feb. 2015
By M. Ratliff - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Paperback Verified Purchase
The book is good and very informative. My only complaint is that is small and lacks information on specific types of dolphins that are pictured. So when my son asks me "What type of dolphin is that?" .., I have no idea because the book is just a general overview of dolphins in general.
