5.0 out of 5 stars Very beautiful picture book., 12 Jan 2011
This review is from: The Dolls' House Fairy (Paperback)
My 2 year old daughter loves this book but I think older girls would like it too. The doll's house is used satisfyingly in the story, quite a bit of action happens inside the house which is very clever. The fairy is fairly anarchic but also very real, eating crisps and being naughty. The fairy is also appropriately secret and unseen by adults. The illustrations are very beautiful. I found this in the library but have already bought a copy because my daughter loves it so much. Great present for a 2 - 5 year old girl.

Attractive, colourful illustrations, and a good story. I liked the multicultural family. My 4 year old grandaughter loved it and kept asking everyone to read it to her.

5.0 out of 5 stars Gorgeous girly picture book, 23 Mar 2011
This review is from: The Dolls' House Fairy (Paperback)
This is a favourite in our house - and my daughter is 6. I think the naughty unconventional fairy strikes a chord with most little girls! The touching affection between daughter and daddy is also a moving theme. The illustrations are enchanting and have the detail that little people love! This should be on every little girl's book shelf.
